Cookies
This page explains what cookies are, which ones Blue Anchor Wealth Advice uses, and how you can manage them.
What cookies are
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They help the site remember preferences or understand how pages are used.
Types we use
Essential cookies remember your cookie preference so the banner does not reappear on every visit. The site works if you reject optional cookies.
Analytics cookies (only if you accept) help us see which guides are read most often. They do not grant access to advice systems or client files.
Cookies table
| Name | Purpose | Duration | Provider |
|---|---|---|---|
| blueAnchorWealth_cookieConsent | Stores Accept or Reject choice for optional cookies | 1 year (localStorage) | Blue Anchor Wealth Advice |
| _ba_analytics | Measures aggregate page views on guides and consultation pages when accepted | 6 months | Blue Anchor Wealth Advice |
| _ba_session | Maintains a basic session identifier for form reliability | Session | Blue Anchor Wealth Advice |
Managing or disabling cookies
Use the Accept or Reject buttons on the banner when it appears. You can clear site data in your browser settings to reset the choice. Browser controls can block cookies entirely; essential preference storage may then reappear each visit.
Third-party cookies
Embedded fonts from Google Fonts may initiate network requests. We do not load third-party advertising cookies. If we add a hosted analytics tool later, this table will be updated before activation.
Impact of disabling
Rejecting analytics cookies does not block enquiry forms, appointment information, or consultation pages. Only optional measurement stops.
